Murray Gula To Build Custom Home with Listeners on Home Improvement Talk Radio SHOW
DETROIT, MI August 10, 1998 -- "Home Improvement Talk Radio" featured every Saturday from noon to 3PM on WCM AM990 will break new ground starting August 15th by building for the first time a custom, hi-tech home on the radio. Each week over the next 14 weeks the Home Improvement doctor Host Murray Gula, and the listeners of "Home Improvement Talk Radio" will design and build, with the help of over 60 building experts in their own field, a complete state of the art, technologically advanced home for today and tomorrows environment.
Every facet from site development, city and state requirements, concrete styrofoam basements, wall cavities, mechanical systems, building materials, special vapor barrier paints and radiant barrier roof refractors will be covered. Planning for utilities through modern heating systems including geothermal heating, air quality and electronically controlled environment monitoring systems will be addressed.
The finishing touches with complete amenity packages including state of the art appliances, bacterial fighting countertops, all you use hot water on demand systems, satellite hookups, internet capability and power sharing and backup systems will also be shared with and decided upon by the listeners of "Home Improvement Talk Radio".
This is just a partial list of the hundreds of different decisions that Murray will address on this news breaking extraordinary building experience.
